Delivering Workshops at DigitalTeapot14

Digital Teapot is an event focused on encouraging women to consider and hopefully embark on a career in the Digital Creative Sector. The annual event is hosted by SharpFutures /TheSharpProject and with over 150 women attending in 2014 it seems like this well hosted event is here to stay.

This is the second year in a row that The White Room have been invited to deliver workshops and general advice to the attendees.

Four workshops were delivered throughout the morning:

  • Blog your way to Success – Paul Aspden, The White Room
  • Be the next ASOS! Set up your own online shop – Stuart Almond, The White Room
  • How to use Twitter & Linked In to land your dream Job – Ann Davis, BizWiz
  • From YouTube to Netflix – the future of self-broadcasting – Mark Ashmore, Future Artists
