Transported: Public art on Greater Manchester’s public transport network


The White Room are working with GMPTE to explore how art can be used on Greater Manchester’s public transport network. From the work, we’re looking to develop an ambitious new Arts Strategy that could create the world’s biggest mass-participation art project.

We held a consultation workshop on Tuesday 14th July, with an audience of 50 high profiles guests, with artists, creatives, and representatives from key organisations in the sub-region. During the event we unveiled our concept, which captured the imagination of the audience and solicited inspired responses.
